give lectures and seminars on performance related topics such as body awareness and stage anxiety. To support local music and musicians we also provide our members with tickets to Tallahassee Symphony Orchestra concerts free of charge!
The biggest even we help sponsor is the annual FSU Flute Day. Through collaboration with organizations and companies such as FSU College of Music, SGA, Brannen-Cooper, Beethoven and Co., and The Society of Composers, FSU chapter, we are able to reach out to members of the community, sharing our passion and love for the flute with local and regional residents free of charge! In order to provide our members with these opportunities we receive funds from SGA, actively fundraise and apply for grants to aid in off-setting costs.

Welcome to the home page of The Flute Association at FSU!!!
The Flute Association at FSU is a Student Government Association
registered student organization comprised of undergraduate and
graduate flute students at Florida State University. Since 1999, The
Flute Association at FSU has been dedicated to supporting the FSU
College of Music and FSU Flute Studio by helping to sponsor and
promote study of the flute on FSU's campus and throughout the
community. To accomplish this mission, we help organize and
advertise for the many flute guests artists' events that occur on our
campus every year. Through such events our members are able to
witness world-renowned musicians teach and perform, gaining
invaluable insight into developing themselves as musicians through
